Past student successes: we would like to share several outcomes of how we have impacted the lives of students in the Black Hills area. All of our educational events are presented free of charge to ensure that we are serving all children regardless of financial considerations.

1. Duncan: violin participant wishing to attend college with a focus on space engineering. After assisting him with successful musical competitions, we supported his application to a specific college and professor from our organization allowing Duncan to utilize his arts scholarship to support his engineering studies. Duncan is now a rocket propulsion engineer for Space X.
2. Zach: a cello participant graduating college with a complete interruption of his studies due to the Covid pandemic. Our efforts secured free tuition and a large stipend to attend the Univ. of Central Florida where I teach, employing a safe method of study for two years. Zach is now a professional musician in the Boston area.
3. Maya: a young violinist showing incredible talent and skill. We assisted and guided her college development to one of the most prestigious conservatories under the tutelage of the leading performers and educators where the entire school is tuition-free. Maya is only the 3rd student from South Dakota to graduate from the institute. She currently performs as a soloist across the U.S. and performs with the Philadelphia Orchestra regularly.
4. Ingrid: violin participant wishing to attend premed college while continuing her musical studies. After successfully assisting Ingrid in her efforts to win a local concerto competition including a solo performance with the local symphony orchestra, we assisted with an exclusive audition at her selected college. The college awarded Ingrid a talent scholarship covering her tuition and included European tours representing the college. Ingrid is now attending medical school at the University of Wisconsin hoping to bring her skills back to her home area upon completion.
5. Joelle: harp participant. We assisted Joelle with a harp, instruction, cognitive learning, and stage presentation which she utilized in her efforts to become Miss South Dakota. Joelle’s method of study sparked an interest in medical sciences which she is now pursuing as a Medical Lab student at the Univ. of Minnesota.
6. Tyler: double bass student graduating last year from Central High. Tyler showed great skill and intelligence with a desire to grow. We assisted with his scholarship applications performing his audition recordings at our home. Tyler was granted sufficient scholarship to cover his tuition with additional funds towards his housing. Currently he is assisting our 19th Season and learning the important business skills of managing a very active arts organization.
