FAQs
Frequently asked questions
All of our Musical Story Time programs are Sensory Friendly. Please let us know if you need assistance and we are more than happy to make adjustments to make the event more enjoyable.
In collaboration with Dr. Alice Hammel, leading author of music and autism, we are presenting a new series of educational and interactive programs designed to teach life skills and communication through music.

The stories are appropriate for children and adults of all ages.  However, please see the information below to determine which program best suits your child.
Our recommendation is to view our library pictorial below or to visit the Rapid City Public Library with your child. The environment is specifically designed to the needs of the children.

"Going to the Library" Pictorial is available below, for parents/teachers ahead of time to help prepare the children for what they will experience & minimize anxiety.
